3D Floral Pink Green Striped Throw Quilt, 59.25" x 71.5"

The design of this quilt is called Jelly Roll Race and was done in the Moda collection called Aria by Kate Spain. The stripes of the quilt are pieced, and the large flowers and leaves are done in raw-edge applique. The centers of the flowers are made with a chenille that will fluff more with subsequent washings. The bright pink border is a folded border, with the remaining borders being pieced. The backing is a light blue print and is also from the Aria collection.

This quilt contains Warm and White 100% cotton batting and was quilted using a solid white thread. The quilting is done in an all-over loopy motif with a posy thrown in here and there. The binding is folded double, then attached by machine and is of the white butterfly print that appears within the quilt and between the green borders.

The quilt measures approximately 59.25" x 71.5" (150.5 cm x 181.6 cm) and is a perfect size for snuggling under! It has already been washed and dried to achieve that lovely, rumply quilted look, and to fluff the chenille in the flower centers. Gentle wash in cold water and line dry, or tumble dry on low. Do not use chlorine bleach.
